Cacti planted on wet sand. On the left, the space between the cacti allows distinction. On the right, each cactus is adjacent to another cactus, making it hard to distinguish individual cacti.

A cactus is a plant made by placing seed on wet sand. Cacti have the stereotypical shape if placed far apart, but a line of seeds planted on wet sand can result in a cluster of indistinguishable cacti.

  • Unlike trees, cacti do not die when they are frozen.
  • Beehives can't form in cacti.
